Inwards Goods/Inventory & Retail Assistant


Come join our team at Mitre 10 Martinborough.

This is a dual‑area position supporting both our Inwards Goods/Inventory functions and our Retail Department.  While the bulk of your week will involve inventory and stock‑related duties, every Saturday—and at other times as required—you will be part of our customer‑facing retail team, delivering great customer service.

 

You will be involved in:

  • Helping to check, move, and restock incoming stock accurately and on time.
  • Keeping inventory records tidy, assisting with stock checks to identify missing or low stock, and supporting stock takes and general Inwards Goods duties as needed.
  • providing great customer service in our Retail Department on Saturdays and when required.

 

For this position we are looking for someone who:

  • can work independently with strong time-management and adaptability.
  • has competent MS Office computer skills.
  • is physically fit, with no restrictions on lifting or handling.
  • confident, customer focused and comfortable engaging with people in a busy retail environment.

 

Applicants must have a full driver’s licence. A forklift licence with F endorsement is advantageous, however training can be provided.
