📊 About the Role
This is a
permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday. As part of our
Inventory Team, you’ll play a key role in protecting the integrity of our stock
system.
Your work ensures our shelves are accurate, our replenishment runs smoothly, and our customers can trust what our system says we have. It’s a detail-driven position that directly impacts store performance.
🔎 Your Day-to-Day
- Perform cyclical, ad-hoc, and category stock takes
- Investigate stock variances and processing adjustment requests
- Manage GAP reporting and minimising discrepancies
- Identify causes of negative stock and procedural issues
- Review data reports and recommending process improvements
- Work closely with department teams to resolve stock issues quickly
- You’ll look beyond “shrink” assumptions and investigate operational causes — helping us improve processes, not just fix numbers.
🧠 What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in inventory, purchasing, audit, stock control, or a similar role (retail exposure preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Analytical thinking and confidence working with reports and data
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Physical fitness — including regular ladder use and retrieving stock from height
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset
- Live locally or within easy commuting distance of Whangaparaoa to support a consistent early-start roster
