Inventory Coordinator

Our Mitre 10 Imports (MIMP) team is responsible for sourcing and supplying a wide range of internationally sourced products across the Mitre 10 store network. From outdoor furniture, BBQs and pools to cooling products, we make sure the right product is in the right place, at the right time, and to the quality our customers expect.

We’re now looking for an Inventory Coordinator to join the team and play a key role in keeping our inventory accurate, visible and moving.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this hands-on, detail-driven role, you’ll be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of inventory across our imported product range. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Maintaining inventory accuracy across the MIMP product portfolio
  • Ensuring product master data is accurate and reliable
  • Managing daily inbound and outbound stock movements
  • Identifying and resolving issues that could lead to stock value loss
  • Working closely with and managing our 3PL provider
  • Supporting smooth operations across our distribution and retail network

You’ll work closely with the wider MIMP team and report to the Distribution Manager.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced supply chain or distribution environment and takes pride in getting the detail right.

Experience & Skills

  • 2–3 years’ experience in inventory coordination or a similar role
  • Exposure to large retail distribution centres
  • SAP inventory experience
  • Solid computer skills, including intermediate Excel
  • Experience working with or managing a 3PL provider
