Head of Financial Systems

As we continue to evolve and invest in our digital and financial capability, we’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Financial Systems to lead the way.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll own the strategy, performance and continuous improvement of our finance systems landscape, enabling smarter decisions, stronger controls, and seamless user experiences across the business.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this senior leadership role is responsible for the end‑to‑end ownership of our finance systems, including SAP S/4HANA, Esker and Concur.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and lead the finance systems strategy, roadmap and ongoing optimisation
  • Act as the business lead between Finance and IT, ensuring effective delivery of enhancements, upgrades and projects
  • Drive process improvement, automation and system integration to improve efficiency and controls
  • Ensure data integrity, security and compliance across all finance systems
  • Prioritise and oversee finance‑related system initiatives and business process improvements
  • Lead, develop and build capability within the finance systems function
  • Oversee user training, support and adoption of finance systems
  • Champion best practice in financial systems, processes and governance

About you

You’re a confident systems leader who enjoys working at the intersection of Finance and Technology and knows how to influence outcomes at a senior level.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in a finance or enterprise systems environment
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, controls and best practice
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar Tier 1 ERP systems (highly desirable)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, IT or a related discipline
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo
