A bit about the role…

We’re looking for a positive and enthusiastic Hardware Team Member to join our busy and supportive team at Mitre 10 MEGA Petone.

This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where you’ll support both Trade and DIY customers by helping them find the right products and solutions for their projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service to Trade and DIY customers
• Providing product knowledge, technical information, and advice
• Helping customers select the right products for their projects
• Maintaining recommended stock levels and product availability
• Keeping the department safe, clean, and well-presented

What we’re looking for…

We’re ideally seeking someone who brings:

• A positive attitude and strong customer focus
• Basic computer skills and confidence learning new systems
• A good level of fitness, as the role requires being on your feet most of the day
• A sound understanding of Health, Safety, and wellbeing in a retail environment
• A team-focused mindset and willingness to learn

Hardware or retail experience is advantageous, but not essential — training will be provided.

This is a Full-Time role, working Tuesday - Saturday
