👥 About the Role
This is a full-time position within our Hardware department. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where product knowledge, teamwork, and customer focus matter. This role supports both trade professionals and retail customers, helping them source the right tools and materials.
👉 Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and expert advice across the hardware department
- Support day-to-day operations including merchandising, stock replenishment and pricing
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and overall store performance
- Assist with stock control, ordering and inventory management
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a seamless customer experience

- Passion for customer service and creating a positive in-store experience
- Interest or knowledge in hardware, DIY or building products
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Willingness to learn and continuously build product knowledge
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, flexibility to climb ladders and move heavy goods around, is important.
