Gardens Team Member - Mitre 10 MEGA Ruakura

Are you passionate about plants and enjoy helping others bring their gardens to life? We’re looking for a full-time Gardens Team Member to join our hardworking and supportive team at Mitre 10 Mega Ruakura.

🛠️ What You’ll Do:

• Provide helpful, hands-on service to customers looking for advice on plants, gardening, and landscaping.
• Take ownership of plant and garden stock ordering, ensuring we’re always stocked with the right products at the right time
• Monitor product levels and place timely, accurate replenishment orders, working closely with suppliers and the gardens supervisor
• Maintain high standards of plant health, care, and presentation.
• Assist with general tasks in the garden area, including merchandising, tidying, and customer service

• Strong plant knowledge – you understand seasonal trends, plant care, and what customers are looking for
• Attention to detail – whether it's plant care or product presentation, you take pride in your work
• Confidence using stock systems and placing orders
• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed
• Physically fit – this is an active, hands-on role

📅 Hours:

Reporting to the Gardens Supervisor this role is 40 hours per week, worked across Sunday to Thursday.
