Garden Department Fixed-Term Opportunities

Spring and summer are our busiest seasons, and we're looking for enthusiastic team members to help create an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. If you enjoy working outdoors, have a passion for gardening, and love helping people, we'd love to hear from you.

Available Fixed-Term Roles:

Garden Dirt Fill Team Member

September 2026 - Easter 2027

• 20 hours per week
• Friday to Monday, 7:00am - 12:00pm
• Keep soil, compost and garden products stocked and readily available for customers

Garden Watering Team Member

September 2026 - March 2027

• 6 hours per week
• Sunday and Monday, 7:00am - 10:00am
• Maintain and care for plants through regular watering

Garden Green Team Member (Weekends)

September 2026 - March 2027

• 18 hours per week
• Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am - 6:00pm
• Provide expert advice and exceptional customer service in our outdoor garden area

Garden Inbound Stock Team Member (Afternoons)

September 2026 - March 2027

• 16 hours per week
• Wednesday to Saturday, 2:00pm - 6:00pm
• Receiving and unloading plant deliveries

Garden Inbound Stock Team Member (Mornings)

September 2026 - March 2027

• 16 hours per week
• Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00am - 2:00pm
• Receiving and unloading plant deliveries

Garden Department Team Member

October 2026 - March 2027

• 40 hours per week
• Sunday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Assist customers across all areas of the Garden Department

What you'll be doing

• Helping customers find the right products and solutions for their gardening projects
• Maintaining attractive, well-stocked displays
• Watering and caring for plants
• Supporting the team to keep the department looking its best

We're looking for people who:

• Enjoy delivering fantastic customer service
• Have a positive attitude and strong team spirit
• Are eager to learn and take pride in their work
• Have excellent communication skills
• Are physically fit and comfortable with lifting, standing, walking and manual handling tasks
• Can confidently work in a busy retail environment
• Have a passion for gardening (gardening knowledge is an advantage)
