Kiwis love to garden and we love to assist them with their gardening needs. We are looking for a retail assistant with horticultural ability and a customer focused attitude to join our team in our Garden Department.

This is a full time role with some weekend work. Weekend commitment and reliability is essential.

We need someone with good physical fitness and strength as heavy lifting and stock replenishment is part of this role.  This is your chance to share your expertise and be part of a passionate and committed team.

Previous experience in the garden industry is essential, and you will need to have a general passion for all things gardening and retail as well as:

• Being customer-driven and strives for excellence
• Enjoying selling and interacting with people
• A good understanding and full appreciation of the importance of the health and safety in the workplace
• An eye for detail
• Excellent time management
• Horticultural knowledge and experience
• A love for gardening and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others
• Physically fit as heavy lifting is involved
• Health and Safety awareness
