Our Garden Centre is a real highlight, especially during the busier seasons, and with a fantastic new Garden Manager leading the space, it’s an exciting time to be part of the team.

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to join our Garden Centre on a part-time basis, working every Friday and Saturday. This is a practical, customer-facing role where no two days look the same. You’ll be helping customers, caring for plants, and keeping the department looking its best.

This role will suit someone who:

• Lives locally and wants steady, part-time work close to home
• Has a genuine interest in gardening, plants, or outdoor living
• Enjoys physical, active work (this is not a desk job)
• Is reliable and available to work both Friday and Saturday every week
• Takes pride in helping customers and being part of a team

Your Day-to-Day

• Fridays and Saturdays are our busiest trading times in the Garden Centre, so you’ll play a key role in helping customers quickly find what they need and keeping the area well-presented and stocked.
• Helping customers choose the right plants and garden products
• Watering, maintaining, and rotating plant displays
• Loading soil, pots, and other garden products for customers
• Keeping the department tidy, stocked, and visually appealing
• Supporting the team to keep things running smoothly
