Mitre 10 MEGA Hornby is a family-owned Christchurch business which strives to offer exceptional customer service to every customer-every time.

We're currently looking for an energetic team member to join our Outdoor Garden Department on a fixed term basis until the end of November 2026.

We have a Garden Centre opportunity available so if you have a passion for plants and landscaping, possess an awesome work ethic and have a customer-focused attitude then we would love to hear from you!

Garden Centre Tuesday to Saturday – 40 hours per week fixed term.

• Enthusiasm and team spirit
• A passion for customer service excellence
• Excellent communication and good time management
• A willingness to learn
• A high level of physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy items is essential for these roles
• A knowledge of garden hardware, landscaping, green goods, and associated products is an added advantage

Your gardening passion may come from time in your own back-yard or you may have undertaken horticultural training – either way you will enjoy helping our customers select the right gardening products or plants, along with those add on products they need to make the project successful.
