Do you have a passion for gardening and a talent for leading and inspiring teams?
At Mitre 10 Martinborough, we're looking for a tech-savvy and customer-focused Garden Centre Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our department.
In this role, you'll combine your love of gardening with your business acumen to:
- Oversee daily operations and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and department growth.
- Collaborate with the Retail Manager to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage stock and ensure shelves are well-stocked with high-quality plants and gardening supplies.
- Use your tech skills to improve inventory management, analyse sales data, and identify opportunities for growth.
You'll also be a strong leader who can:
- Supervise and support the garden team to meet and exceed goals.
- Inspire and motivate your team with your drive and enthusiasm.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing gardening advice and helping customers choose the perfect plants and products.
Experience in gardening is preferred, but not essential. Strong customer service skills, leadership abilities, and tech proficiency are key. We offer a fast-paced work environment, the opportunity to make a real difference, and a great work-life balance.
If you're a people person with a passion for gardening and a knack for technology, we want to hear from you!
Applicants must be a NZ citizen or hold a valid NZ work visa.
Please send your CV and cover letter recruitment@pandk.co.nz by February 26th.
