About the Role

This is a full-time 40-hour-per-week role. Your initial roster will be Tuesday to Saturday, but flexibility is required, as all future roster patterns will include at least one weekend day due to retail demand.

As our Garden Centre Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert on the green garden section, helping customers select the perfect plants for their outdoor spaces. But it doesn’t stop at plants—you’ll also need a solid understanding of the entire garden center, including:

🌱 Garden hardware—from wheelbarrows to ride-on mowers

🌿 Fertilizers, composts, and pest control solutions

🌾 Landscaping materials and outdoor care essentials

What You’ll Bring

✅ Expert plant knowledge—you know your native trees from your flowering perennials!

✅ A passion for gardening, landscaping, or horticulture—you’ve worked in a garden center, nursery, landscaping, or a similar role.

✅ Ability to provide top-notch customer advice—you enjoy helping people create their perfect outdoor space.

✅ A well-rounded understanding of garden products—fertilizers, pest control, and garden tools.

✅ Physical fitness—some lifting and manual handling are required.

✅ Retail or customer service experience—a plus, but not essential if you bring the right attitude.
