Functional Process Specialist - AP/AR

We’re rolling out SAP across the Mitre 10 network, and we’re looking for someone who loves solving problems, building capability, and supporting people through change to join our Finance team on a 2-year fixed term contract. As a Functional Process Specialist, you’ll be the go‑to expert for how AP/AR processes work in our new SAP environment. You’ll support store teams before, during and after deployment, helping them understand the new processes, build confidence in the system, and embed new ways of working.

This role involves extended periods of nationwide travel as you support deployments across our store network. You’ll work closely with Deployment Leads, Change & Learning, and our store network to ensure we deliver a smooth, consistent rollout experience.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting store deployment teams as the first point of contact for AP/AR process and SAP queries
• Coaching and guiding store teams on how to apply new SAP processes in real store environments
• Building strong, trusted relationships across Programme ONE and the store network
• Identifying opportunities to lift efficiency, simplify processes and improve store operations
• Feeding insights into learning, change, and continuous improvement activities
• Contributing to documentation, reporting and team objectives

• SAP functional experience (AP/AR highly advantageous)
• Ability to explain and map business processes
• First‑level SAP troubleshooting capability
• Comfortable interpreting operational data
• Understanding of retail operations (Mitre 10 experience a bonus)
