A bit about the role

We are looking for a Front of House Cafe Shift Supervisor to join the team at our BRAND-NEW Columbus Coffee Café located at Mitre 10 Wainuiomata. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Supervising the workflow, staffing levels and day to day operational requirements in absence of the Café Manager.  
  

• Support the team as and when required by delivering expert advice and solutions to customers.  
  

• Support the Café Manager with staff supervision responsibilities, including recruitment, coaching, training and performance management 

   

   

We are looking for someone who has:

• Qualification or comparable experience/skill in as either Barista or Chef
  

• Complete competence in Cash Handling and POS, Web based Customer and supplier Systems 
  

• Calm disposition and ability to maintain consistently positive attitude under pressure
  

• A good understanding of food and beverage preparation, presentation, and quality control is necessary. 
  

• Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations and procedures is crucial. 

   

   

In addition, the successful candidate will have a genuine interest in hospitality and strive for excellence in delivering our customers outstanding service.

This is a full-time role, rostered a minimum of 30 hours per week, between Monday – Sunday.
