A bit about the role

We are looking for Full Time and Part Time Kitchen Hands to join the team at our BRAND-NEW Columbus Coffee Café located at Mitre 10 Wainuiomata. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Handling, washing and rinsing all kitchen equipment and utensils, and putting away.
• Also helps serving and clearing tables during busy periods.
• General Kitchen duties to assist Café chefs

We are looking for someone who has:

•   Able to work unsupervised when necessary
•   Have strong professional communication skills
•   Have excellent customer service skills
•   Are reliable and have the ability to adapt and be flexible
•   Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
•   Are team players
•   Have the ability to multitask under pressure and have fun doing it!
•   Are physically fit – as there will be prolonged walking & standing on concrete floors, manual handling and lifting.

In addition, the successful candidate will have a genuine interest in hospitality and strive for excellence in delivering our customers outstanding service.

We have both full-time and part-time positions available. Full-time roles require a minimum of 30 hours per week, scheduled between Monday and Sunday. Availability for part-time roles will be discussed individually.
