Frame & Truss Head Detailer

Are you an experienced Head Detailer, or ready to step into a leadership role? Our Waihi Frame & Truss team is on the lookout for a skilled professional to lead our detailing and estimating team and drive quality, innovation, and efficiency. With a brand-new, purpose-built manufacturing plant opening soon, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business, play a key role in our next chapter, and grow alongside our future-focused team. We're looking for a team player who leads by example—focused on empowering others and setting the team up for success every day.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading and mentoring our team of detailers and estimators
• Reviewing and implementing systems and processes to ensure our estimating and detailing is of the highest quality and efficiency
• Collaborating with production, estimating, and trade teams for seamless project delivery
• Providing technical support and solutions to internal teams and customers
• Championing continuous improvement and innovation in detailing and product offerings

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years’ detailing experience
• Experience detailing using MiTek 20/20 & MiTek Sapphire preferred but not essential
• Leadership experience or ambition to step into a senior role
• A solutions-focused mindset and great communication skills
• Experience detailing floor cassettes and other manufactured solutions an advantage
