Flooring and Lighting Salesperson

Mitre10 MEGA is New Zealand's number one home improvement store. The Napier and Hastings stores are 100% owned and operated by the Ricketts family, locals who have been trusted in the Bay since 1961. From small beginnings in Taradale, the family business is now one of the largest retail businesses in the Bay – now employing over 250 people locally.

This role is within our Flooring and Lighting Department and will suit someone who loves a challenge, and who can think outside the box to solve those difficult questions.

Flooring can transform a space, whether it's with a wide range of tiles, floor rugs or front door mats, and with the evolution of lighting from incandescent to LED, you have the opportunity to inform our customers of the right choices to light their home.

Reporting to the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for merchandising, stock control and customer service.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to stay connected to the retail sector, whether you're returning to work or exploring something new.

• Previous customer service experience (a bonus, but not essential)
