We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Paint Sales Team Member to join our Paint Department at Mitre 10 MEGA Papanui on a fixed-term basis until the end of January 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a knowledgeable and supportive team, assisting both DIY and trade customers to find the right products, colours and solutions for their painting projects. Through excellent customer service and product knowledge, you'll help create a positive shopping experience that leaves customers feeling inspired, confident and ready to get started.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term, part-time position working Saturdays (8.5 hours per week).

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing outstanding customer service and advice
• Assisting customers with paint product selection and colour matching
• Maintaining attractive and well-stocked displays
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the Paint Department
• Contributing to a safe, tidy and efficient work environment

Previous retail, paint, decorating, merchandising or product knowledge experience would be highly regarded but is not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
