📌 About the Role
You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate project costings that support efficient production, reliable delivery, and strong customer outcomes. Working closely with detailing and production teams, you’ll help ensure jobs move smoothly through manufacturing while meeting NZS 3604 requirements. Your costings will directly influence production flow, job profitability, and delivery timelines.

💰 Salary: Competitive, aligned with experience
📆 Employment Type: Permanent, full-time (Monday–Friday)

🎯 What You’ll Bring

✅Experience in the building supplies, timber manufacturing, or frame and truss industry
✅Sound understanding of construction methodology and NZS 3604
✅Familiarity with MiTek software (preferred)
✅ National Certificate in Frame & Truss Manufacturing or Quantity Surveying qualification (ideal, not essential)
✅High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency
✅Continuous improvement mindset (lean manufacturing experience an advantage)
✅Clear communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
✅Full New Zealand Class 1 driver licence

📆Your Day-to-Day

• Prepare accurate quotes, costings, and supporting documentation
• Ensure projects are costed correctly to support production flow and profitability
• Liaise with detailers, production teams, architects, designers, and engineers
• Monitor job margins and ensure compliance with NZS 3604 standards
• Provide clear, accurate information to minimise production interruptions
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in systems, processes, and workflows
