Drive Thru & Landscape Team Leader - Mitre 10 MEGA Prestons
Mitre 10 MEGA Prestons is looking for an experienced and motivated Drive Thru & Landscape Team Leader to join our team at our brand-new store.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced outdoor retail environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences. You’ll lead our Drive Thru and Landscape yard operations, ensuring customers receive efficient service while maintaining a safe, well-organised, and high-performing environment for both customers and team members.
Full time 42.5 hours per week - days and hours to be discussed.
About the Role
As Team Leader, you will:
- Lead and support the Drive Thru & Landscape team to deliver exceptional customer service every day
- Maintain high standards of stock availability, presentation, and yard organisation
- Build strong relationships with both trade and DIY customers, becoming a trusted point of contact
- Ensure safe and compliant operations across all outdoor and Drive Thru areas
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve service, safety, and performance goals
- Support yard logistics, including vehicle flow, loading assistance, and product handling
- Contribute to a positive, proactive, and customer-focused team culture
About You
You’ll bring:
- Proven leadership experience in retail, trade, logistics, or operational environments
- A strong customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills
- The ability to prioritise and perform well in a busy, fast-moving environment
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and a passion for team success
- Building, landscaping, or trade industry knowledge (preferred but not essential)
- A forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one (training provided)
