About the job
- We are looking for a hands-on Dispatch Foreman to lead our dispatch operations and ensure the seamless delivery of frame and truss products to our customers.
- This role is responsible for managing dispatch schedules, supervising a small team, and maintaining efficient stock control while ensuring health and safety compliance.
- This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role (5:00 AM – 2:30 PM), reporting to the Scheduling Manager.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or logistics hands-on, leadership or senior role required.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills to manage schedules and stock efficiently.
- Manage team performance, training, and adherence to standard operating procedure
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to workplace safety.
- Forklift licence (OSH and F endorsement preferred) or willingness to obtain.
- Familiarity with frame and truss manufacturing or timber products is an advantage.
Key responsibilties
- Action daily dispatch operations to ensure timely deliveries.
- Oversee loading, stock movements, and quality control of outgoing products.
- Manage team performance, training, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch schedules and stock levels.
- Work closely with the Production and Scheduling teams to streamline workflow.
- Ensure all health and safety policies are followed in the dispatch area.
