Join Our Albany based Support Centre team as a Direct Sourcing Specialist.

Are you passionate about product strategy and supply chain innovation? We are on the hunt for a forward-thinking superstar to drive the growth and success of our direct sourcing initiatives.

In this pivotal role, you’ll partner closely with our Merchandise Team, providing essential support across all direct sourcing activities. Your mission? To ensure our directly sourced products not only make it to market efficiently but also perform strongly once they’re there.

Reporting to the Head of Sourcing your key responsibilities will include;

• Take ownership of tasks traditionally managed by suppliers, enabling faster decision-making and supporting the Category Team’s ability to expand their direct sourcing portfolio
• Lead the end-to-end packaging process for directly sourced products
• Manage the administration of new product onboarding, ensuring timely and accurate input of Master Data, and coordination across Supply Chain, Marketing, and Compliance functions
• Collaborate with the International Team to support market intelligence gathering, promotional material development, and representation at industry events
• Drive ongoing product performance improvements across the direct sourced range, focusing on:
  • Enhancing product information, packaging, and design
  • Supporting the store network to capitalise on sales opportunities
  • Building confidence in the quality and value of directly sourced products within the network
    

Experience and Capabilities Required:

• A sharp eye for identifying and enhancing product potential, with a strong sense of market relevance and customer appeal
• Proven ability to streamline processes and drive operational efficiency across teams and functions
• Skilled in managing fluctuating workloads, particularly during seasonal peaks, while maintaining momentum and team focus
• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of product and process management
