Direct Marketing & Partnerships Specialist

We’re looking for a digital‑savvy Direct Marketing & Partnerships Specialist, on an 8-month parental leave contract, to lead and strengthen key partnerships, including Air New Zealand Airpoints and our Retail Association partners.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Loyalty & Partnerships, you’ll help maintain, enhance and grow our key loyalty partnerships, including Air New Zealand Airpoints and Retail Association partners, while also supporting our direct marketing programme.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing day‑to‑day relationships with key partners (including Air NZ and Retail Associations)
  • Supporting partnership strategy and executing agreed annual plans
  • Coordinating and delivering direct and digital marketing campaigns
  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting on campaign and partnership performance
  • Providing post‑campaign insights and recommendations
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for Airpoints and Retail Association partnerships
  • Supporting promotion set‑up, partner reporting and customer issue resolution
  • Identifying opportunities to simplify, improve and automate ways of working
  • Working closely with internal teams to improve the customer experience
  • Ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in direct marketing, loyalty, marketing automation or data‑led marketing
  • Strong experience delivering high‑volume digital marketing campaigns
  • Confidence working with data, segmentation models and marketing platforms
  • Ability to turn insights into clear recommendations and actions
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship‑management skills
  • Excellent organisation and project management capability
  • A customer‑first mindset and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach
