Deployment Partner - Implementation

We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Albany based Support Centre on 2-year fixed term contract as Deployment Partner – Implementation.

As a key player in our deployment team, your role involves taking charge of the in-store team to ensure the successful rollout of our Program solution, known as Program ONE. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing all deployment project activities, managing resources, and ensuring the smooth execution of project delivery processes.

Please note that this role involves quite a bit of travel to ensure hands-on leadership for the smooth deployment of our Membership. Your presence on the ground is key to making sure everything goes off without a hitch.

Reporting to the Project Manager your key functions will include: 

  • Manage the plan and interdependencies for store deployment work delivered by several Deployment Workstreams and the store team
  • Close collaboration with Functional Specialists in Store Operations to ensure right support provided at the right time to each store cluster.
  • Review the project schedule regularly to ensure tasks and milestones are being achieved in a timely manner, and implementing mitigations where schedule risks arise
  • Coordinate project meetings attend and chair meetings where necessary, minute, and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Deployment reporting 
  • Keep the Deployment Lead and key stakeholders informed about project status and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Take an active part in the project issue/risk management process, by contributing to the identification and prioritisation of issues and risks and help to develop strategies and controls to mitigate these.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of people within and outside of the project team, including project sponsors, Members, Store teams, senior managers, stakeholders/customers, other project team managers, external agencies and vendors.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Solid track record in a similar role, preferably retail or similar complex environment.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Experience with project management a plus
  • Ability to cultivate strong cross-functional relationships within the business.
  • Effective planning skills.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and problem solve in collaboration with a wide array of stakeholders
  • Business-focused and results-driven.
