Demand & Replenishment Planner

We’re expanding, with new and upgraded stores opening, and we need a Demand and Replenishment Planner to help drive our success!  You’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our stores and distribution centers are stocked with exactly what they need—at the right time and in the right quantity.

This exciting role will see you operating in a dynamic, cross-functional environment where you’ll collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Merchandise, Stores, Store Operations, and key supply partners. You’ll play a critical role in streamlining replenishment processes, optimising inventory levels, and driving efficiency across the cooperative.

What you will be doing:

  • Generate accurate demand forecasts at the article/plant level and across aggregate levels when needed, ensuring seamless inventory planning.
  • Deliver high in-stock rates while optimising stock turn for efficiency and profitability.
  • Work closely with our Merchandise Business Units and key supplier partners to share insights and enhance demand forecasting.
  • Partner with our stores to fine-tune replenishment settings and inventory levels, ensuring they always have the right products at the right time.
  • Leverage analytics to track key performance metrics, providing meaningful reporting and actionable insights to drive smarter decision-making.

Skills Required:

  • A strong demand forecasting background within retail, and replenishment systems exposure
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills along with verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Tertiary qualified with an industry relevant degree, or possesses equivalent years of work experience in a similar role
  • SAP experience advantageous but not a deal breaker
  • Ability to understand the business processes both upstream and downstream of the demand planning and replenishment sphere
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, with the ability to analyse data at different levels.
