Demand and Replenishment Planner

As a Demand and Replenishment Planner, you will be working within the demand planning and replenishment function for our cooperative, driving optimal replenishment, delivering the right stock at the right time in the right quantity into our stores and distribution centres. The role will work cross functionally with Supply Chain, Merchandise, Stores, Store Operations, and key supply partners.

What you will doing:

  • Accurate demand forecasts at the article / plant level, and aggregate level where required
  • Deliver high in-stock rates together with efficient stock turn
  • Partner with our Merchandise Business Units to share insights and add context to our demand forecast. This will extend to key supplier partners.
  • Partner with our stores to optimize their replenishment settings and inventory holding
  • Analytics – reporting on key metrics for your area of work, providing insights to the business
  • Inputs into the S&OP process.

Skills Required:

  • A strong demand forecasting background within retail, and replenishment systems exposure
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills along with verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Tertiary qualified with an industry relevant degree, or possesses equivalent years of work experience in a similar role
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to understand the business processes both upstream and downstream of the demand planning and replenishment sphere
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, with the ability to analyse data at different levels.
