Delivery Driver - Mitre 10 Onehunga

We’re looking for a reliable, customer‑focused Class 2 Driver to join our Despatch team. If you enjoy a mix of driving, hands‑on work, and great customer interaction — this could be the perfect role for you.

This is a full‑time, permanent position working Monday to Friday.

About the Role

As one of our Delivery Drivers, you’ll represent Mitre 10 Onehunga out in the community — delivering timber, building products, and retail orders to customers across Auckland. You’ll be picking, packing, loading, and safely transporting goods, working closely with our Trade, Timber Yard, and Retail teams to ensure every order gets where it needs to go.

This role involves physical work and outdoor environments, so being comfortable lifting and moving products of various sizes is important. In return, you’ll enjoy variety, independence on the road, and being part of a supportive, down‑to‑earth team.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a full, clean Class 2 manual licence
• Has experience in delivery driving (construction or trade deliveries a bonus)
• Has good knowledge of the Auckland area
• Is comfortable with physical work — lifting, carrying, loading
• Enjoys providing friendly, professional customer service
• Communicates clearly and represents the business well on every delivery
• Works well both independently and as part of a team
• Has an F endorsement or forklift experience — or is happy to train (we can support you)
