Delivery Driver - Mitre 10, Onehunga

About the role

Full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.30pm (45 hours per week).

We require applicants to have a full, clean, class 2 manual Driver Licence with at least 2 years' delivery experience.

You will be delivering a range of items from our timber yard and retail store so heavy lifting is a requirement of the role.  Other duties will include picking, packing, and loading orders alongside our Timber Yard and Trade Support teams.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic individual who is willing and able to perform physical work and enjoys working in a team environment with a customer-centred approach.

• You will possess a full, clean, class 2 manual Driver Licence and a current forklift F endorsement (not essential) – with a good knowledge of Auckland
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure ability to represent the company in a professional manner
• Adaptability and versatility will be key as your tasks will be very varied and no two days will look the same
• Ability to work as a team or solo
• Physically fit as parcels range in size and weight
• Reliable with a desire to learn
• Experience in construction delivery work in advantageous
