We are on an exciting journey to becoming a truly insight‑driven organisation, and we’re looking for a Data Engineer to play a key role in making that happen.

Reporting to the Data Engineering & Platform Manager, you’ll bring together your technical expertise, data mindset, and collaborative approach to enable better decision-making across the business. You’ll focus on building trusted, scalable data pipelines, preparing data for AI initiatives, and enabling self‑service analytics that support both operational and strategic insight.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing, building, and maintaining reliable, automated data pipelines across a wide range of data sources and tools
• Preparing high-quality data assets with a view to AI enablement and advanced analytics
• Creating semantic views and intelligent agents to support self‑service data analysis
• Developing and supporting AI-enabled analytics solutions (including Snowflake Cortex / Intelligence)
• Translating business requirements into scalable, efficient data delivery solutions
• Enabling near real-time analytics to support informed decision‑making at pace
• Collaborating closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders across the organisation
• Driving continuous improvement by adopting emerging tools, technologies, and best practices
• Supporting data governance, quality, security, and compliance across the data lifecycle
• Being an active technical contributor, sharing ideas, mentoring others, and helping lift data capability across the business

What you’ll bring

• Strong experience delivering data pipelines using a variety of data platforms and tools
• Hands-on expertise in data acquisition, transformation, visualisation, and communication
• Experience with API integrations and modern data architectures
• Exposure to statistical modelling, snowflake intelligence agents, or AI-enabled solutions
• Experience working in agile delivery environments
• A mindset that connects technology and data to real business value
