Customer Services (Full Time) - Mitre 10 MEGA New Lynn

🛎️ About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent role within our Front-End team. The Front End encompasses customer services, checkouts, returns, special orders, click & collect, claims, and deliveries. While this role is based at the Customer Services counter at the front of the store, it forms part of a wider, high-functioning team responsible for ensuring every transaction and interaction is handled accurately and professionally. This is a role for someone who enjoys structure, process, and being relied upon.
Your roster will include:
- A mix of opening shifts (starting at 7:00am)
- Closing shifts (finishing at 7:00pm)
- One weekend day as part of your regular roster (Saturdays preferred)
🧠 What You’ll Bring
This role will suit someone who takes pride in doing things properly and understands the importance of consistency in a customer facing environment. We’re looking for someone who is confident, capable, and comfortable working to clear standards. As this role is based in New Lynn, we are ideally looking for West Auckland residents only.
You’ll bring:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a high-volume retail environment
- Proven experience handling complex transactions, escalations, or service issues
- Experience working with structured retail systems (POS, ordering, claims, or inventory systems)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and professionalism during sustained peak trading periods
- Sound judgement and the discipline to follow process correctly
- A high standard of personal presentation and communication
- Reliability and the ability to manage responsibility independently
- Availability to work a roster that includes early starts, late finishes, and a weekend day
- Suited to West Auckland residents who value working close to home and being part of their local community
