Team Supervisor -Service Desk/Checkouts

This position is full on – dealing with customer and staff enquiries, telephone calls, GE Finance, product location, checkout sales and all the other ‘one off’ situations that arise on a day to day basis.

The customer service team deliver the first and last impression of our business and the person we seek must have the ability to remain cool under pressure and be able to think on their feet. 

In this role we are looking for someone who will:

  • Ensure customers are the number one priority, receiving the high standard of service they deserve.
  • Take charge of management of staff including; staff rostering, training & development.
  • Promote a team culture that encourages a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and coordinate the departments training and development.

We are looking for someone who has:

A strong sense of leadership;

  • Minimum 2 years Retail and /or supervisory experience
  • a passion for providing excellent customer service;
  • be a detail minded self-starter;
  • be able to multi-task, and have the ability to follow through and follow up situations in a timely manner;
  • a can do attitude – an action orientated person – high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • enthusiasm and team spirit;
  • excellent communication skills.

This role will be 40 hours a week roster one shift  on the weekend.

Must have a valid NZ work permit or visa.
