Mitre 10 Imports (MIMP), as part of Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited, is the main importer of product for the Mitre 10 group of stores – and the amount of product going through MIMP is forecast to continue growing.

This important position within our Imports team will be see you as a key point of contact for all customer queries into MIMP, so we are looking for someone who understands the importance of delivering service excellence at all times. 

Reporting to the Service Excellence Manager you will be focused on:

  • Promptly answering the Imports “0800” phone;
  • Resolving issues in a timely manner;
  • Processing on-charge warranty credits to suppliers and some other administrative tasks;
  • Monitoring the Helpdesk emails; and
  • Logging store queries.

It will be a busy role that will see you liaising with store staff, our logistics providers and internally with our Merchandise team about product enquiries and with other Imports team staff around product and delivery issues.

For this role we’re looking for someone who has worked in a similar role, has an excellent telephone manner and command of the English language, along with good data entry skills and a “can do”, customer-driven attitude.

Unlike many customer service roles, this one sits within normal business hours, ie, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm.
