Communications Partner - Customer

Are you a communications superstar ready to make an impact? We’re looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join our Albany based Support Centre team and play a key role in delivering customer and store communications across a major transformation programme. This is a fixed term role finishing 18 December 2026.
You’ll be at the heart of our change journey, supporting both account customers and the store teams who serve them. This role is critical in ensuring clear, engaging and timely communications that support understanding, adoption and success throughout the deployment of Mitre 10's largest digital transformation.
Reporting to the Head of Internal Communication, you’ll be responsible for but not limited to:
- Lead the development and delivery of operational customer and store communications across multiple channels
- Partner closely with programme, marketing and internal stakeholders to translate change into clear, practical messaging
- Manage communication data accuracy, approvals and sign‑off processes
- Coordinate design, print and production, including quotes, budgets and timelines
- Stand in the shoes of end users, tailoring communications to meet the needs of customers and store teams
- Ensure all communications align with Mitre 10 strategy, tone of voice and writing guidelines
- Adapt messaging based on real‑time feedback
- Provide communication support across multiple teams, with a strong service mindset
- Proven experience in communications, ideally within a complex or change‑led environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Confidence working with ambiguity and evolving priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building capability
- A collaborative and consultative approach
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A professional and confidential working style
- A passion for continuous improvement and learning
