Communications Advisor - Customer

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Communications Advisor – Customer to join our Albany based Support Centre team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. 

As an integral part of our communications team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing operational customer communications during our exciting transformation journey. Your expertise will ensure that we connect with our customers effectively by using the right channels and delivering engaging, impactful content that truly resonates.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, you’ll be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Design and deliver impactful customer communications that captivate and engage.
  • Continuously refine strategies, channels, and materials to set new benchmarks in communication.
  • Coordinate data processes and signoffs, ensuring seamless accuracy.
  • Ensure flawless execution of communications across print and digital platforms.
  • Champion collaboration by supporting internal teams, especially our store teams who bring our brand to life.
  • Ensure communications reflect our vision, voice, and goals. Adapt on the fly to resonate with real-time feedback.
  • Foster lasting relationships with stakeholders, creating tailored, user-centric messaging.
  • Embody our commitment to excellence in every interaction, delivering value to all stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in crafting and delivering operational customer communications. Bonus points for experience in transformation programs, though it's not a dealbreaker.
  • A natural wordsmith with a flair for storytelling across mediums—whether written, video, or graphic design.
  • Turn business jargon into clear, digestible, and engaging language that connects with your audience.
  • Possess the personal drive and confidence to challenge, push back when necessary, and bring out the best in every collaboration.
