FRONT OF HOUSE PART TIME (minimum 15 hours p/w)

Columbus Café is a vibrant and busy café situated in the Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill store. We are seeking a part-time cafe team member to join our fun, hardworking team! this role would involve working a Monday, Friday & Sunday shift.

We offer on-the-job training which makes us a great place to start your employment journey in hospitality or if you are looking to further your career in this fast-paced and rewarding industry.

Front of House involves taking customer orders and payment handling, beverage making, attending to cabinet food orders, delivering ordered meals and drinks to customers, and keeping tables and service areas clean and tidy.

What we need from you:

• The ability to deliver exceptional customer service and dining experience.
• Flexibility with your availability to work
• Roster pattern will include a Monday, Friday & Sunday daytime shift, therefore not suitable for school students
• Can deliver service with a smile and effortlessly juggle several tasks at once.
• Have a positive, can-do attitude with no hesitation to roll up your sleeves when needed.
• Work calmly under pressure to meet the demands of this fast-paced environment.
• Barista experience would be an advantage.
