Checkout Operator (Fixed term, part-time)
About the role:
We are seeking for our Mitre 10 MEGA in Glenfield a Checkout Operator - fixed term (start mid-April to mid-August), part-time (32 hours per week). The shifts will be Sunday-Monday, Thursday-Friday. You will ensure all customer queries are being taken into account and escalated where required, work on the point of sale checkouts and other functions as required.
This role is front-end and customer facing, it requires you to bring an intermediate level of computer literacy and would suit someone with a passion for customer service.
An ideal candidate will have:
- strong attention to detail
- excellent communication skills
- a passion for customer service excellence
- a quick and alert mind for problem solving, multitasking and organising
- an ability to adapt and be flexible
- a willingness to learn with a can-do attitude
- flexibility of potentially more available hours
- Customer service and cash handling experience is preferred
