Mitre 10 Waiuku is looking for an experienced, mature and enthusiastic person to join us and work within an organisation that is known as New Zealand’s most trusted home improvement store.

 

In this part time, casual role, you will gain experience in working across multiple departments, helping us to keep our store and customers moving when cover is needed due to planned or uexpected leave. It will involve direct customer interaction, checkout sales, and handling various ad-hoc situations that arise daily.

Duties include:

• Providing the highest standard of customer service
• Ensuring all checkout transactions are processed quickly and efficiently
• Ensuring all store policies and procedures are followed
• Ensuring department presentation is well maintained
• Willing to "go that extra mile" for our customers and your team
• Previous retail experience or checkout experience is essential in this role. Experience in working a customer facing role, would be seen as favourable
