🧭About the job

This is a hands-on Café Manager role with full accountability for day-to-day café performance. You will lead from the floor, set clear service and operational standards, and ensure the café operates efficiently across front and back of house.

You’ll be responsible for managing labour, controlling costs, maintaining compliance, and leading a large team in a busy, customer-facing environment. This role suits an experienced operator who is comfortable balancing service quality with commercial outcomes in a high-volume setting.

👤What you’ll bring to the role

• Proven experience managing a high-volume café, with full responsibility for front and back of house operations - franchise experience (advantageous)
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing café performance, including revenue, costs, and labour
• Strong people leadership capability, with experience leading and developing teams of 15+ staff
• Demonstrated ability to manage to P&L, control costs, and support revenue growth
• Sound understanding of Food Control Plans, Health & Safety, and regulatory compliance
• Strong operational skills across rostering, stock control, supplier management, and systems
• A service-focused mindset with the ability to balance customer experience with operational efficiency
• A Duty Manager Licence (LCQ) and working knowledge of the Liquor Act (advantageous)
