Cafe at Mitre 10 MEGA Hornby is locally owned and has a focus on a fresh,
premium quality food offer that is produced in our own kitchen.
We are
looking for two part time Chefs to work alongside our Head Chef in the
kitchen. You will have great kitchen management and communication skills
and the ability to work in an organised and safe manner.
While
you will be responsible for preparing a range of regular Cafe menu and cabinet
items, there will be loads of opportunity for you to contribute new and
exciting ideas.
Among
other things, the Cafe Chef is responsible for:
- Baking
- Cabinet food
- Short order brunch menu
- Catering
- Kitchen ordering and cost control
- Food safety
- Maintaining an excellent standard of food presentation
The
successful applicants will be a team player and will stay calm, cheerful and
focused under pressure. While experience will be highly regarded, it is
your enthusiasm and attitude that will stand out. Full training will be
given.
