We’re looking for a Bulk Merchandise Coordinator to lead the team responsible for off‑location displays, bulk merchandising, and promotional execution across the store.

This full time, permanent hands-on role is ideal for someone who loves merchandising, thrives on organisation, and enjoys leading a small team to deliver great results for our customers. This role is 42.5 hours per week and involves working one weekend day. (Saturday or Sunday).

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll coordinate and lead our Bulk Merchandise team (approximately 4 team members), ensuring bulk stock, end caps, bins, clip strips, and promotional displays are executed to a high standard — on time, on brief, and with the customer in mind.

You’ll work closely with suppliers, inventory, team leaders and operations team to maximise sales, maintain strong stock control, and deliver visually appealing, compliant displays throughout the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Bulk Merchandise team to deliver high‑quality off‑location and promotional displays
  • Execute national and local promotions, digital catalogues, and in‑store events
  • Plan and place forward orders to ensure optimal stock levels and GP outcomes
  • Maintain bulk merchandise, impulse locations, end caps and seasonal displays to Mitre 10 standards
  • Ensure accurate pricing, ticketing, signage, and clean, safe presentation at all times
  • Work proactively with suppliers, operations, and inventory teams
  • Track product sell‑through and inventory performance using reporting tools

About You

  • Proven experience in retail environment ,team leader or stock coordination (hardware/big box retail an advantage)
  • Confident leading and coordinating a small team
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Customer‑focused, with a genuine passion for creating great in‑store experiences
  • Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet, with no restrictions on lifting
  • Detail‑oriented, safety‑conscious, and solutions‑focused
  • A team player who communicates clearly and works collaboratively across departments
