Smith's Mitre 10 Mega is a family- owned Christchurch business which strives to offer exceptional customer service to every customer every time.

We are looking for team to work Friday to Monday.

This is a fixed term position until 31 Jan 2027, working 34 hours per week.

We’re seeking a retail professional with a strong customer focus and a great work ethic.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• A passion for customer service and sales
• Excellent communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Team-focused mindset
• Basic computer literacy and confident learning new systems
• Strong attention to detail and flexibility
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Health & Safety conscious

Applicants must be able to start work in September and work through Christmas and New Year.

This customer-facing role is perfect if you’re passionate about DIY, with a flair for helping customers bring their projects to life. You’ll provide expert product advice, drive sales, maintain stock and visual standards, and work collaboratively to ensure a safe, well-presented department.
