Located inside Mitre 10 MEGA Silverdale, our café serves a growing mix of retail and trade customers throughout the week and weekends. As the store continues to grow, so does our customer base. While no two days are the same, we're focused on delivering friendly, efficient service, excellent coffee, and consistently high standards whenever customers visit. Teamwork, reliability, and a genuine commitment to customer service are at the heart of what we do.

We're looking for an experienced Barista who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their craft, and values being part of a supportive team.

About the Role

This is a 32-hour-per-week position that includes a mix of weekday and weekend shifts. This is a hands-on café role combining coffee making, customer service, and general front-of-house responsibilities. While customer volumes vary throughout the day, there are busy periods where you'll need to stay organised, work efficiently, and maintain quality. This role is ideal for an experienced barista who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and values being part of a supportive team.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Preparing high-quality espresso coffee to Columbus standards
• Making hot and cold beverages including hot chocolates, smoothies, frappes, and juices
• Providing warm, professional customer service
• Serving food and beverages to customers
• Clearing tables, washing dishes, and maintaining café presentation standards
• Supporting the wider front-of-house team during busy periods
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workspace

• Proven experience as a Barista in a café environment
• Confidence producing consistently high-quality coffee and beverages

• Flexibility to work rostered shifts across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
