Accounts Receivable Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Albany, Auckland based Support Centre as an Accounts Receivable Administrator with SAP experience (essential)

The role is responsible for supporting the Accounting Services Team with managing and processing all accounts receivable transactions including proactively chasing and managing overdue accounts in accordance with the Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited Policies and Procedures and in accordance with standards of good accounting practice.

 Reporting to AR Manager, tasks include but not limited to:

  • Review and process customer payments accurately and efficiently reconcile statement to ensure accurate recording of receivables
  • Customer Management and maintain a positive relationship with customers and stores
  • Preparing monthly statements and fees payments for customer accounts for prompt payment
  • Managing customer accounts and reconciliations and credit management and reporting 
  • Identifying overdue accounts and contact members, or customers regarding payment and liaising with wider finance team as required
  • Assisting management team as required with other areas of customer payments.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • General accounting, Credit Management and AR knowledge
  • SAP experience is highly beneficial for this role
  • Ability to provide accurate output within assigned deadlines
  • Good proficiency with Excel and Microsoft office and pacsoft an advantage
  • Experience working in a team-based environment.
  • Previous exposure to a medium/large ERP system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2+5 years Accounts Receivable experience preferable.
