Mitre 10 Mega is proud to help Kiwis create beautiful outdoor spaces. With some of our team moving to support the new Prestons store, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to step into the 2IC role in our Outdoor Garden department.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the department team leader in daily operations and team coordination
• Managing inwards goods and ensuring accurate stock receipting
• Monitoring and addressing SLOB (slow-moving and obsolete) stock lines
• Assisting with stocktaking processes and inventory accuracy
• Planning and executing weekly routines, including rostering, merchandising, and promotional setups
• Taking responsibility for the department in the team leader’s absence
• Supporting team development through coaching and process improvement
• Delivering great customer service to our customers
