Mitre 10 MEGA Silverdale is one of the newest and most exciting stores in our group—serving the rapidly growing Hibiscus Coast and Milldale communities. With a strong trade presence and a loyal base of local DIY customers, our store is known for its friendly, knowledgeable team and its commitment to making home improvement easy.

We’re a close-knit crew who take pride in helping customers find the right solutions—whether that’s loading up timber in the trade yard, giving advice on building materials, or lending a hand to a fellow team member. 🏗 About the Role
We’re looking for a Trade Yard Team Member to join our Timber & Building team at Mitre 10 MEGA Silverdale on a fixed-term basis from November 2025 to July 2026.

This is a 32-hour per week role, working Wednesday to Saturday. You’ll be part of a high-energy team that keeps our yard running efficiently serving both trade and DIY customers, assisting with orders, operating forklifts, and keeping the area safe, tidy, and well-stocked.

You’ll thrive here if you enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and helping customers find exactly what they need for their building projects.

🛠 What You’ll Bring
✅ Forklift license – essential🪚 Timber, trade, or building product knowledge required
🏡 Must live locally (Silverdale or surrounding area) for reliability and ease of travel
📅 Must be available Wednesday – Saturday (no flexibility on days) for the entire period of the fixed term period.
💪 Physically fit and safety-conscious
🧮 Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities
👥 Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
