Since opening a small Mitre 10 store in Warkworth in 2009, we’ve expanded to include Mitre 10 MEGA Albany—New Zealand’s largest hardware store—along with locations in New Lynn, Warkworth, Whangaparaoa, and Silverdale. Our group also operates Columbus Coffee cafés, a Distribution Centre, and a Frame & Truss Manufacturing Plant.

About the Roles
We have several opportunities for Team Members to join our Warkworth store
across different departments:
🌿
External Gardens/Garden Exterior – 24 hours per week (3 weekdays + 1 weekend
day)
🛒
Front End – Customer Services (not checkouts) – 40 hours per week (3 weekdays +
1 weekend day)
📦
Inwards Goods – 37.5-40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
All roles are based in Warkworth, with rosters including at least one weekend
day.

What You’ll Bring
Previous experience in retail, customer service, logistics, or warehousing
(role dependent)
A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
Good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical fitness for lifting and moving stock (particularly for Inwards Goods
and Gardens)
A commitment to great customer service and teamwork
Most importantly: you live locally and can easily commute to Warkworth

Your Day-to-Day
Depending on your department, you could be:

Assisting customers with plants, garden products, and outdoor ranges
🛒
Helping with product queries, returns, claims, special orders, click &
collect, and home delivery

Receiving, checking, and organising stock in our inwards goods area

Providing excellent customer service and working with your team to keep the
store running smoothly
