Riviera Hardware Holdings Ltd is the largest group within the Mitre 10 network, proudly Kiwi-owned and operated. Since opening a small Mitre 10 store in Warkworth in 2009, we’ve grown to include Mitre 10 MEGA Albany—New Zealand’s largest hardware store—along with other locations across Auckland.

At Albany, our Interior Gardens department is one of the most inspiring areas of the store. From indoor plants and orchids to pots, baskets, and garden art, our team helps customers add greenery and personality to their homes.

🌱 About the Role
* Permanent, part-time role (30 hours per week)
* Roster: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 
* Based at Mitre 10 MEGA Albany (Oteha Valley Road)
* Hands-on mix of customer service, stock care, and creative display work

🔍 What You’ll Bring
* Experience or training in horticulture, garden retail, or a related field
* Knowledge of indoor plants, soils, fertilisers, or pest control
* Great customer service and communication skills
* Physical fitness for lifting/moving stock
* Reliability for weekend and late shifts
* A positive, team-focused attitude

📋 Your Day-to-Day
* Assisting customers with plant selection and product recommendations
* Creating tidy, inspiring displays that showcase our products
* Maintaining plant health and stock presentation
* Supporting the wider Gardens team to deliver excellent service
