🌳 About the Roles
These roles sit within our larger Gardens Department, which covers hardscaping, landscaping supplies, garden pots and planters, trellises, ornaments, landscape products, bonsai, shrubs, trees, and seasonal outdoor ranges. You’ll also support the Internal Gardens (indoor plants) team and other departments when required. These are hands-on, customer-facing roles that involve working outdoors in all weather. We have two permanent positions within our Gardens team - x1 part time and x1 full time - days and hours to be discussed at Interview. Both shifts will include a weekend day. 

🌼 What You’ll Bring

• A passion for gardening, landscaping, plants, and outdoor living
• Experience in horticulture, garden centres, landscaping, nursery work, or outdoor retail (preferred but not essential)
• Friendly and confident customer service skills
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round
• Good physical fitness for lifting plants, pots, soil, and landscape materials
• Ability to work across departments, helping where needed
• Reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude
• Must be able to work at least 1 weekend day
• Local to the Warkworth area or able to commute easily

🌺 Your Day-to-Day

• Assisting customers with plant selection, planting advice, and outdoor product queries
• Caring for plants through watering, pruning, feeding, and maintaining displays
• Merchandising pots, ornaments, landscaping supplies, and seasonal ranges
• Supporting indoor plants and garden hardware when required
• Helping other departments during busy periods
• Restocking, receiving, and moving stock within the gardens area
• Maintaining a tidy, safe, and visually appealing external gardens space
