As the Web Manager you will lead the ongoing optimisation of key digital marketing channels, ensuring they operate with the upmost efficiency and deliver a highly engaging customer experience. This is a chance to take charge of our online Marketing channel – from design and development through to deployment and enhancement.
In this one-year, fixed term parental leave cover role you will report to the Group Manager - Marketing Operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
·Planning and implementing the ‘Go to Market’ strategies and identifying additional online channel opportunities, ensuring that all promotions and catalogues are reflected in the online environment, aligning the digital channel to the national promotional plan;
·Driving e-commerce activities to achieve business objectives;
·Ownership of the online platform in regard to on-going system management, integration and development.
·Management of third party partners; and
·Managing team workflows and briefing documents, ensuring they are to a high standard, allowing the business to leverage opportunities within marketing channels.
For this role we’re looking for someone with a minimum of five years’ relevant e-commerce experience, along with design,graphical and website development capability. You will have strong analytical skills utilising Google Analytics and be capable with fundamentals of web marketing such as SEO, AdWords and Webmaster tools.
Having great communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in an agile environment will be key. People management skills would be a real advantage, but not essential. This role has two direct reports.
NB: This is a fixed term role – ideally from the 14 January 2019 through to February 2020.
